Your role will be to analyze problems and datasets, select methodologies and algorithms, build prototypes, turn these prototypes into production systems and communicate results to the business through reports and visualizations. One of the important aspects of this job is to make sense of it all -- to understand customer behavior, detect operational problems, streamline business processes, and improve user experience. |
| Required Skills: |
Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. mathematics, statistics) with 2 years of experience in the same capacity
Ability to detect and analyze patterns in data and make accurate predictions based on those patterns
Working knowledge of data mining techniques, including regression analysis, clustering, decision trees, neural networks
Solid background in data mining algorithms and statistical analysis / data quality procedures
Ability to design and build large and complex data sets
Strong strategic thinking about data design
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
Strong SQL skills
Experience in data visualization/ reporting tools
